Please help our Volunteers to help you!
Have you checked your smoke alarms lately? If they are more than 10 years old they should be replaced.
We are funded entirely by donations. We request a $50.00 membership donation each year. If you own a home or business or any type of major structure in our area we request a membership donation for each. If you would like to send in your membership you may click the membership / donation button below, where you can pay by credit card or direct bank withdrawal. Or you may send a check to us at our mailing address. If you have any questions, give us a call or fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Your membership is tax deductible
We respond to all calls regardless of whether someone's membership donation has been received or not. However, payment of the $50.00 guarantees that there is never any charge to you or your insurance company in the event of a fire. Procedures set up by our community require, in the event of a fire, that we send an invoice of $2000.00 to anyone whose membership is not paid. Our firefighters receive no pay for what they do. Please help them to continue to help you.

We are fortunate to be a recent recipient of an Assistance to Firefighters Grant from the Department of Homeland Security. This Grant is in the amount of: $192,000.00. Of this amount Homeland Security will fund 95% of the amount and we will be responsible for 5% of the total cost. This Grant is specifically marked to replace old and outdated Firefighter Personal Protective and Safety Gear. As a result we are replacing all of our old Self Contained Breathing Apparatus and turnout gear. The old ones were purchased in 1998 and are outdated and worn out. The new air packs feature such items as increased air supply allowing firefighters to operate longer without stopping to replace air tanks. Built in Thermal Imaging Cameras allowing firefighters to locate victims in heavy smoke as well as locate hidden fire inside walls and ceilings. See the pictures
