With great sadness and  heavy hearts we announce the loss of Firefighter Donald Bond.  He passed away on August 16, 2021.  Don was a 3 year member of our department.  He previously served for 30 years as Fire Captain in Terra Haute Indiana.  One of his first acts on retiring and moving to Tennessee was to come and join our Department.  Don was a true public servant.  Rest in peace Brother, we'll miss you.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of retired Assistant Chief, Tammy Hinson.  She passed away November 24, 2021 after an extended illness.    She joined the Department in 1991 and rose to the rank of Assistant Chief before retiring in 2017 due to health issues.  A true volunteer, she was dedicated to serving the Department and our Community.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lieutenant Mark Hinson Sr, also a member of this department.  She leaves behind her three sons, Jamie, Brian and Mark who are also members of this department.  She was part of a true volunteer firefighter family.  Rest in peace Tammy we will miss you.

With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the loss of Firefighter Ira Dennis Inman.  He passed away Tuesday November 23, 2021.  He joined the Department in 2017 and was a dedicated Firefighter.  Dennis especially enjoyed working with the youth in our Fire Prevention Programs.  Always quick to volunteer for any task.  We'll miss you brother.  Rest in Peace.
